Ryan O'Neal plays Oliver, a Harvard Law student who meets & falls in love with Jennifer (Ali MacGraw). The couple get married but unfortunately Jennifer is diagnosed with a serious illness. This emotionally stirring drama was a box office smash, grossing over $100 million dollars in the US alone.  The film's unforgettable music score won the Academy Award & the film also won a number of Golden Globe awards including Best Picture. 8 years after "Love Story's" initial release, a sequel titled "Oliver's Story" was produced, Ryan O'Neal returned in the starring role but this time with Candice Bergen as his co-star.  Some consider the original "Love Story" to be the greatest romance film ever made.
